What you'll be doing:
As Product Manager in Payments, this is an exciting opportunity for you to put your unique stamp on all aspects of a new payments product.
Your work will unlock new payment use cases for our customers, enable new features for partners and expand our footprint. You will be finding new ways to incorporate payment use cases to compliment our existing stack of financial services and build the foundation of what product management is at Sanlo.
In this role, you’ll be focused on driving business growth by defining the product strategy and roadmap, and owning key optimizations through all stages of the user lifecycle. You’ll spend time understanding our customers’ needs, dive into the data to understand behaviors, and sharpen your instincts to anticipate opportunities that will change the trajectory of our product. You’ll also work with credit risk, data, third-party vendors and providers, design, engineering, and other teams to ensure that our product provides a top-notch experience.
We're looking for someone who will:
Be passionate about our mission to empower game and app developers to build products that people love
Define and execute on the strategy, product roadmap and prioritization of Sanlo’s payments initiative
Collaborate with product teams to ensure payment solutions integrate seamlessly with Sanlo products
Work with Engineering and Product Design to build payment solutions including: mobile SDKs and easy-to-use APIs
Effectively set timelines and manage cross-functional project teams to meet deadlines through proactive management of blockers, scope, shifting priorities, and risks
Inspire and build culture with an incredible team
Be comfortable with minimal supervision and have a high sense of accountability
Establish goals and ensure success is measurable
Report directly to the CEO and directly influence product priorities
We're looking for someone with:
Product management experience building payments products at a fintech company
Experience at a fast-paced tech company or start-up with a track record of leading ambitious projects from 0-to-1
Technical expertise building API products: You get excited about beautiful API design and building reliable systems
An analytical, data-driven approach to facilitate good architectural and product decisions
Experience working closely with engineers to build products, especially APIs
Experience driving complex, multi-faceted products with multiple partners across the organization based on qualitative and quantitative insights
Great interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication. You can collaborate and thrive in a productive, healthy debate with mutual respect and shared goals. You make complex concepts accessible with clear communication
High attention to detail, including precise and effective communications with customers/partners
User centricity, coupled with passion and drive to change the complexity of the financial products for the better
Experience with SQL
Experience working in gaming and/or consumer tech products
Experience building payments API products for accepting consumer payments; or have integrated with underlying payment networks
